Our primary aim was to understand Covid-19 infection spread across the states in India and districts of Karnataka. At the State level we provided run time monitoring of Rt , Active Cases, and provided an Early warning system for each state. For Karnataka, our analysis is detailed at the district level: we tracked Deceased data, Active cases, Rt, provided a one week prediction for them and an Early warning system for each.

Programing Tools

For the development and visualization of the COVID-19 data we used:

R-Software: The primary programming language used for data analysis and statistical computations was R. Its comprehensive libraries and packages facilitated data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Data Repository: This set of scripts are responsible for cleaning COVID-19 data obtained from various sources. It ensures the data is accurate, formatted correctly and available for the public to use.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing R, these scripts perform required statistical analyses, including trend assessments and data aggregation.

Data Sources

Data Collection and Integration: We gather data from trusted sources such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and various national health ministries.

Data Analysis and Visualization: We used R language to generate interactive charts, maps, and dashboards from complex data sets
